Red Bull F1 adviser proposed infecting team drivers with coronavirus

Pink Bull Racing adviser and previous racing driver Helmut Marko pushed for a “Corona Camp” to infect (and hence inoculate) drivers as the workforce waited out downtime stemming from the coronavirus pandemic. 

Marko prepared to acquire all of Pink Bull Racing’s Components 1 and junior series drivers (about 15 personnel) jointly to guarantee contact. With the ailment out of the way, he suggested, the workforce would then have been ready to tackle the remainder of F1’s truncated year without the need of panic of infection-associated issues.
