Nissan has introduced an updated version of its corporation badging to complement the launch of the all-new, pure-electrical Ariya SUV. 

The updated emblem swaps the boxed-in “Nissan” lettering – which has appeared on the company’s badge considering the fact that the 1960s – for a far more minimalist layout, with slender lines and a narrower typeface. The company’s CEO, Makoto Uchida, describes the updated emblem as “futuristic, while staying linked to the rich heritage of Nissan.”
