The Michael Schumacher documentary that first surfaced back in 2019 will debut on Netflix Wednesday. It will include the seven-time Formulation 1 champion’s existence — racing and otherwise — from the starting to the conclusion of his vocation(s). According to Racer, it is the only these kinds of documentary designed with the family’s blessing.
The doc will feature interviews with members of the relatives, which include Schumacher’s wife, father and brother. Numerous significant-profile F1 figures and racing icons will also look, which include Bernie Ecclestone, Damon Hill and David Coulthard.
Producer and director Vanessa Noecker explained that in trade for their blessing and support, the filmmakers gave consideration to the family’s privateness throughout the building of the documentary. The Schumacher relatives has selected to retain most facts of the legendary racer’s restoration following a 2014 snowboarding incident out of the public eye.
