SAN FRANCISCO — A previous Tesla Inc. construction manager has filed a lawsuit versus the EV business alleging he was fired for reporting popular security violations and race discrimination at Tesla’s factories.
In the lawsuit submitted with Alameda County Excellent Court on Friday, Marc Cage, an African American, claimed to have described security violations that risked substantial explosions at Tesla’s battery manufacturing facility in Nevada and systematic failures by the business to disclose serious on-the-work accidents.
“Tesla’s commitments to unrealistic generation goals and frantic endeavours to ramp up its manufacturing, usually to make good on rash guarantees, overrode any dedication to staff security,” the grievance claims.
He also alleged that Tesla staff, with the total knowledge of the firm’s administration, denigrated and harassed him on the foundation of his race.
