
New Delhi: World’s premier two wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp on Thursday mentioned it will hike the ex-showroom selling prices across the range of bikes and scooters up to INR. 3,000, from September 20, 2021. The exact quantum of raise will rely on the product and the sector.
This will be the two-wheeler maker’s third price hike in a year subsequent revisions in April and July.
“The price hike has been necessitated to offset the affect of steadily rising commodity selling prices,” the automaker mentioned in a statement.
“With quite a few good indicators, the firm stays optimistic about demand from customers as it gears up for the upcoming festive period,” the statement additional.
In August 2021, the firm clocked 431,137 device product sales in the domestic sector, down 24% from 568,674 units in August 2020.
In the PV section, quite a few carmakers like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors have also lifted selling prices on their car models because of to raise in raw products selling prices.
