A new owner is only two days away for this 1969 Corvette coupe, being offered on eBay at no reserve.
We found the car on the Barn Finds website, which had done some research and found it had been purchased for a reasonable $20,097 about three weeks ago. So far, 42 bids have already been placed during this eBay auction, driving the highest offer so far to $18,850.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the seller make a profit on this vintage C3, which may not be perfect but still shows admirably.
We really like the Le Mans Blue paint, coupled with a nicely restored blue vinyl interior.
The car had been sitting before the seller recently purchased it in a Corvette collection. Since then, they’ve had the carburetor rebuilt, performed a tune-up, and installed new brake calipers, master cylinder, exhaust system, radiator, and more. The headlights, wipers, and most gauges still work, though the aftermarket radio doesn’t.
The result of all that effort is a Corvette said to now run and drive “fine,” with a “strong” 350 motor and four-speed manual transmission under the hood.
Calling it a “very nice” Stingray, the seller nevertheless admits like any 53-year-old, it’s not perfect “and can use some TLC on some things.”
This Corvette can still turn heads. Will it be yours turning to take a look soon?
