Bugatti Rimac JV now up and running

The Bugatti Rimac joint venture has begun operations in Sveta Nedelja, Croatia, below CEO Mate Rimac, founder and CEO of the automaker which bears his identify.

Porsche will perform a key role with chairman Oliver Blume and finance chief Lutz Meschke both on the supervisory board.

Bugatti Rimac will be owned by the Rimac Team (55%) and Porsche (45%). Both automakers will go on to run as unbiased brands and companies and retain their respective manufacturing sites in Zagreb (Croatia) and Molsheim (France), as very well as their distribution channels.

Present-day Bugatti CEO Stephan Winkelmann resigned on 31 October to emphasis on remaining president of Lamborghini.
