Chevy could have trademarked Cheyenne to use as a trim level in an additional attainable but fewer exciting scenario. In Mexico, the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is sold as the Cheyenne, but it’s not unusual for GM to use various names in that current market. Chevy’s Mexican lineup now consists of a sub-Spark product named the Beat, the Aveo, Tracker, and Captive, none of which are presented in the US.
It is really way too early to inform what GM may do with the Cheyenne title in the US (if it ends up employing the title at all), but we will continue to keep an eye out for any developments.
