A rebel yells about pollution: Billy Idol stars in New York anti-idling ads

NEW YORK — Rocker Billy Idol is the deal with of an anti-idling marketing campaign launched Thursday in New York Town.

“Billy under no circumstances idles, so why need to you?” the ’80s MTV star growls in a public support announcement meant to shame New Yorkers into shutting the motor off.
