Luxury motor vehicle brand name Acura is set to deliver again its Integra nameplate up coming yr as a new compact premium entrant.
The Honda Motor Co. brand name confirmed the news in a temporary statement introduced Friday. It did not give further more information, conserve for a notice that said much more aspects about the fourth-generation design will be presented closer to 2022.
“The Integra is again,” Acura Vice President Jon Ikeda said in the statement. “I’m thrilled to say Integra is returning to the Acura lineup with the similar exciting-to-travel spirit and DNA of the primary, satisfying our motivation to precision crafted functionality in each individual way – style, functionality and the overall driving working experience.”
The Integra released in March 1986 as a single of two types in Acura’s primary solution lineup. It was discontinued in 2006.
